Come join in our community event for all the family by participating in the Hanham Scarecrow Trail.
Every year the Friends of Christ Church School get local children and families to design and make a scarecrow. These are then placed in a large number of shops and venues up and down Hanham High Street.
Each year there is a different theme which is given to you when you collect your sheet. Your job is to follow the trail and against each number identify who or what it is. Our route can be found in the map below
There are prizes for participating. This year we have 3 x £10 prizes which all returned sheets are eligible to be entered into the draw for a chance to win. For the most correct answers the entries have a chance to win a family ticket to Noahs Ark Zoo Farm (2 adult 2 child tickets).
The Friends will be available from the Community Center between 11am and 3pm on the 20th and 21st May. You can submit your sheet at the end of the trail in the Community Center, or if you prefer, return your entry to Christ Church Primary School office by Tuesday 23rd May. Winners will be drawn on the 24th and contacted.
The cost of entry is £4 per sheet. To be entered into the draw you will need to leave your name and a contact telephone number for us to reach you
You can pre-purchase your entry sheets here by card or apple pay at https://www.friendsofcch.co.uk/product-page/hanham-scarecrow-trail and collect them from us at the Community Center or come find us on the day where you can buy a sheet in person.
We will also be selling refreshments (tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes and sweets) and can't wait to see you all there!
